DIY bathroom cleaner recipe:

• 1 cup white vinegar (use cleaning vinegar as it is a lot cheaper)

• 1 cup water

• 10 drops of tea tree essential oil

• 10 drops of orange essential oil  

These oils are optional, and you can use peppermint, lemon, lavender, eucalyptus or lemongrass. Tea tree, lavender essential oils are an excellent choice as a natural disinfectant.

Instructions: DIY Bathroom Cleaner

1. Mix the vinegar and water in a spray bottle.

2. If desired, add the tea tree oil for extra disinfecting power and a fresh scent.

3. Spray on surfaces and wipe clean with a cloth.

Shake the cleaner bottle before each use, as the ingredients will settle and the essential oil will come to the top, do a surface test to ensure that the cleaner ensure the cleaner doesn’t discolour or damage the surface.
